Calling All Blogs

If you write a blog on Russian or Eastern European cooking, please leave a comment or e-mail me at yulinkacooks@yahoo.com. I'd like to compile a list of links to food blogs that cover this topic. Blogs on food from the former Soviet Republics are welcome, too.

I'm not sure if my blog can be counted as Russian, since I have so few Russian recipes on it... but I am looking forward to the list!

Count me in. :)

I'd love to be included if you feel it's appropriate. Feel free to link to my home page, my blog or my recipes. (Unfortunately, I'm having some technical difficulties with the website, and the recipes and blog are currently merged together.)

Thank you for putting this list together - I look forward to seeing it!

Hi,
I don't necessarily write about Russian food, but being raised in Moscow (moved to the States when I was 13) a few Russian recipes do pop up.

Thanks, all. Yes, blogs that only occasionally feature Russian food are welcome. Blogroll coming soon.

Hi, I guess add me to the list. Even though I didn't really expect it when I started, it looks like the way my blog is going. :-) (If some time traveller told me 3 years ago that most of the food I cook today would be Russian, I would have been seriously confused...)

Ah yes, just what I was looking for:

http://richfoodleantimes.wordpress.com

It's partially Old Country though, and partially all-American farm food.

I have a few dishes from Az and Russia though already.I just started doing that feature on the Old Country food every Tuesday - this week was pelmeni. Next week will be pirozhki.

This blog is new - come summer I am hoping to make a few recipes about varenije - I really nailed those well. Funny part is that I learned all of that when I moved to the US, by myself, with the help of the internet - most of the Russian food was never prepared by me back home.

But it is highly illustrated, I think you might like that. Very detailed step-by-step illustrations for all recipes.

Thanks!

Hi there!

I just started a Russian Vegetarian blog this month. I was researching cooking blogs on the net and I was so surprised I couldn't find too many Russian blogs out there, never mind healthy vegetarian blogs. I am so glad I found you. I think its a great idea to start a Russian circle of bloggers to support each other. With so much international cooking today, health Russian cuisine should be represented.
